Regardless of the weather, there is always something to do at Appleby Manor Hotel. We have a full size pool table, as well as a pool! There is also table tennis for those who fancy something a bit more energetic.
We have relaxing lounges to sit back and enjoy real log fires while reading your favourite book or newspaper, or if the weather is not so good entertain yourself with one of the many board games in our main lounge.
Outside there is a terrace with great views over the Lake District fells and Eden Valley, the putting green has nine holes and we have lots of walking routes around Appleby and the hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Lake District, and the North Yorkshire dales. The hotel is also only 3 miles away from the Pennine Way with many walks available from easy to more challenging climbs, there are also many activities available in the locality - more infomation on our about the area section.
Of course, you may choose to explore the wonderful countryside in the area surrounding the hotel from the Eden Valley to the spectacular Lake District.
